August Rose is a certified wellness advocate and mental health first aider who had suffered for decades with generalized anxiety, panic attacks, and postpartum anxiety. Through her knowledge gained from experience, anxiety specific courses and research, she has been able to calm her symptoms and recover. She is now on a mission to support others who also suffer from these mental disorders and help them reach recovery. August has been writing for over a decade for numerous blogs and websites, is a published editor and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences from DePaul University. August lives and works out of her home in the suburbs of Chicago and enjoys spending time with her husband and three sons.
